Two pizzas! both incredible!

Pizza 1: homemade spelt crust, a softer version of Crock Cheez (sharp cheddar style spread) from The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook, walnuts, the Seared Portabello Mushrooms and Simple Swiss Chard recipes from Eat, Drink and be Vegan.

Pizza 2: homemade white flour crust (I was feeling wild and crazy), sliced tomatoes, sliced roasted red pepper from a jar, sliced black olives, Soy Curls (re-hydrated in a bacon-style marinade: water, tamari, liquid hickory smoke), Follow Your Heart soycheese.

PS- Me and my guy are all ready for the Vegetarian Food Fair in Toronto on the first weekend in Sept! We're all booked for transportation and lodging. Anyone else going?

If I had to choose, I will have the first one. The second one looks great too, but the mushrooms in the first one are calling my name!

wow - they both look amazing! oh man - now i want pizza to put in my face! and i want yours 'cause they look so freak'n GLORIOUS! dan & i bought the uncheese cookbook a while ago and sadly haven't made anything from it (we have a stack of recipes to try that's incredibly insane) - looks like we're going to have to make some uncheese soon! and mushrooms + swiss chard sounds like a really tasty combination on a pizza. i would have never thought to do that - you're so creative. and that rocks so hard!

Both pizzas look great, but I don't like mushrooms, so I'd be diving into the second one.
I'm hoping to make the food fair again this year. Depends on my work schedule. Our busiest days are on the weekends, but I can usually swing Sundays off.

Didn't I tell you not to spend money buying jarred red peppers? You can make them easily yourself for much cheaper! Just put a whole pepper under the broiler for 10-15 min til it's all charred, and peel and eat!
This week, I am making tofu nuggets, which I will dip into a yogurt sauce with cilantro and mint, and kale cooked in red wine (from Rachael Ray - she loves the kale).
