I got up to get some juice and Elsie takes my place! No tofu for kitties! This is my first time using the
Real Food Daily cookbook that I got for xmas. It was a success. The tofu is first marinaded and then you fry it and top it with homemade bbq sauce. Homemade bbq sauce is sort of time intensive (depending on the recipe) but is totally worth it. I changed the sauce recipe around a bit and I put more tomato than it called for, so it was more a sweet tomato sauce than a sticky, thick bbq sauce, so it worked well on the noodles.

This looks delicious! I'm so excited to try this; thanks!
that looks really, really good!
Looks like your kitty is thinking of becoming a vegan too!!
Wow, I think our cats should hang out together!!! So cute!!
Also - way to use kale, it rocks.
Also - made faux egg salad today (with real mayo though) - is it good to eat that much raw tofu??
Soph- I use "black kale" which I prefer the texture of. It's less curly. Also, 'raw' tofu isn't raw- because the soybeans have been made into tofu.
Awww I have a black and white kitty who likes to jump on my chair as soon as I get up too! She's adorable!
That tofu looks delicious.
